We send out E-Newsletters, Deadline Reminders & other relevant MPRD information. Recently we have been having problems with emails bouncing back to us and not going through to various email accounts. If you have not been receiving emails from us, please check your "Junk E-mail box" and remove us from that list.    The Mahomet Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce our sponsorship campaign for 2009.  Click "read more" below for our brochure.

   Unlike Park Districts that receive tax dollars to support programs, our department relies heavily upon donations from the community to offset expenses, the money raised is really an investment in the quality of life here. 

   Donations will go toward the purchase of t-shirts/uniforms, caps, and awards for our youth during the year.  Additional proceeds will allow the department to maintain consistency in our program fees and helps keep them as low as possible.  Finally, contributions fund our scholarship program, allowing children with financial challenges to participate.

The fee is for using PayPal, which is a service that securely sends payments online. Their fee is approximately 2.9% of the registration fee plus .30 per transaction. The Village of Mahomet Parks & Recreation does not receive any portion of the convenience fees.

 

Any current cancellations will be posted online and on our voicemail by 4:30 pm weekdays and 7:30 am on Saturdays.

If there are no postings/announcements, please assume all games will continue as scheduled.
