Brent Johnson Park Info
________________________________________
About the Park- Brent was a graduate of Mahomet /Seymour High School and had participated in numerous athletic activities during his years at Mahomet/Seymour. The park is dedicated to his memory and spirit.
The land was donated by the developers within the subdivision development agreement between the Taylors Remax Realty and the Village. Friends and Family continue to fundraise for the development of the park tohonor his life. The park consists of a little over 10 acres and has undergone significant landscaping in preparation for the opening. A large Turtle Rock was recently constructed in addition to the sign at the main entrance and numerous trees being planted. Turtle rock was accepted from Charleston rock quarry. Trees were planted by volunteers with the help of Mahomet Landscapes.
