Brent Fest 2010 - Saturday August 7th from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Brent Fest is the primary fundraiser for the park. There will be a raffle, live music, great food, and ice cream and much more. Come on out August 7th to support BJMP and help raise money for Mahomet's community park.

We recently completed our first draft of the park's master conceptual plan. I would encourage everyone to come out to the park August 7th for Brent Fest. We'll have the plans on display & an opportunity for everyone to provide feedback. Phase 1 will be completed by the end of this fiscal year, May 2011. Phase 1 includes a playground & a portion of the walking path and bridge.

About the Park- Brent was a graduate of Mahomet /Seymour High School and had participated in numerous athletic activities during his years at Mahomet/Seymour. The park is dedicated to his memory and spirit.
The land was donated by the developers within the subdivision development agreement between the Taylors Remax Realty and the Village. Friends and Family continue to fundraise for the development of the park to honor his life. The park consists of a little over 10 acres.
