Any game cancellations will be posted online here and on our voice mail by 4:30 pm weekdays and by 7:30 am on Saturdays.  On weekdays, if school closes or dismisses early all recreation activities will be cancelled.  If there are no updated annoucements, please assume all games will continue as scheduled. 

After 4:30PM weekdays, 7:30AM weekends, any cancellations due to Rain/Snow/Thunderstorm events will be determined by the staff onsite.

Our volleyball program is right around the corner...we're looking for enthusiastic instructors to help lead our program, click read more below for a complete job description.  Apply by sending in a completed contract employment application (found under forms & docs to the left) no later than February 23.

We send out E-Newsletters, Deadline Reminders & other relevant MPRD information. Recently we have been having problems with emails bouncing back to us and not going through to various email accounts. If you have not been receiving emails from us, please check your "Junk E-mail box" and remove us from that list. Or if your email address has changed, please email us your new address and include you & your child(rens) names to mahometrec@mahomet-il.gov   Thanks! :-)

The fee is for using PayPal, which is a service that securely sends payments online. Their fee is approximately 2.9% of the registration fee plus .30 per transaction. The Village of Mahomet Parks & Recreation does not receive any portion of the convenience fees.

   The Mahomet Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce our sponsorship campaign for 2010.  Click "read more" below for our brochure.

   Unlike Park Districts that receive tax dollars to support programs, our department relies heavily upon donations from the community to offset expenses, the money raised is really an investment in the quality of life here. 

   Donations will go toward the purchase of t-shirts/uniforms, caps, and awards for our youth during the year.  Additional proceeds will allow the department to maintain consistency in our program fees and helps keep them as low as possible.  Finally, contributions fund our scholarship program, allowing children with financial challenges to participate.
